Lead with real outcomes
A strong portfolio shows the problem, your role, the approach, and the result. Two well-explained projects are often better than a gallery of unfinished experiments.
Include evidence
Use screenshots, architecture diagrams, GitHub code, sanitized log examples, videos or live demonstrations as appropriate.
Explain tradeoffs
Say what was difficult and why you chose your approach. Include testing, security, accessibility and performance when relevant.
Keep it current
Remove broken links, use accurate skill labels, and review your portfolio after each meaningful project or new job application.
